Set in the isolated mountains of Connemara in County Galway, Ireland, Martin McDonagh's award-winning play tells the darkly comic tale of Maureen Folan, a lonely woman in her early forties, and Mag, her manipulative aging mother. When Mag interferes in Maureen's possibly final chance of a romantic relationship, the war between mother and daughter escalates in ways both hilarious and terrifying. This production is part of the 2022 Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
