Interested in creating more sustainable theater but frustrated about how to start? Hate buying all your props and costumes from Amazon but aren't sure how else to keep budgets down? So do the folx on the Resource Sharing Committee, a volunteer group of Philly theater artists who work together to reduce waste, increase cross-company conversation, and create more avenues for sharing the community’s resources. We will be hosting a free-to-all conversation where we hear from you about the struggles you face when trying to create, design, or produce more sustainably. We will also offer some possible solutions by way of the tools and initiatives we have launched, which are designed to be easy to navigate and free or low-cost to use. If you’re preparing to do a show in Fringe Festival this fall, this conversation will be a great place to start thinking about how to keep costs and waste down!
