Sing Out Louise! A Tribute to Musicals We Love: Chicago (Virtual)

The Hum’n’Bards and The Painted Mug Café present a tribute to the beloved musical Chicago. Local performers will pay homage to the iconic performances from the movie, the 97’ revival and the original production. This is not a full production of the show, but an intimate night of music from a show that theater-goers know and love.

See Patti LuStoned and Hannah Parke sing the roles of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, along with performances from singers from the Philly Drag, Burlesque and Theater scenes. These scintillating sinners will be sure to give you the old razzle dazzle on stage at The Painted Mug Café.

The Painted Mug Cafe is a new performance space and cafe in South Philadelphia dedicated to empowering the local LGBTQIA+ community. We are a collaborative team of queer artists seeking to serve our community through programming made accessible physically and digitally.

The Hum’n’bards Theater Troupe is a queer musical collective for the Philadelphia theater and nightlife communities. Our mission is to provide a safe, accessible, and empathetic platform for DIY productions with an emphasis on new exciting works that push the envelope without leaving anyone behind.
