Power Street Theatre is changing up our Theatre Al Fresco summer programming this year to bring you Nuestras Historias/Our Stories, Power Street’s first children’s theater performance. Power Street has brought together storytellers, writers and directors to bring original and traditional folktales from around the world to life. This virtual performance is perfect for kids of all ages (and their adults!) Join us on June 20th from 12-1:30 in a unique Zoom celebration of story.

Featuring: Pratima Agrawal, Ang Bey, Tanaquil Marquez, Arthur Robinson, Krystal Rosa, Anjoli Santiago, Sabriaya Shipley and Gabriela Sanchez.

Cali! Warrior of North Philly

Cali is the amazing trash collecting fairy who cleans up the streets and protects her home. She speaks her truth, but can she use her voice to stand up to her friends? Help Cali use her voice to empower and fight for what is right!


The Ghost Catcher 

A generous neighborhood barber loves cutting people's hair and has a hard time charging them for his services. When his wife becomes tired of going hungry, the barber seeks out new customers, but ends up making an unexpected discovery. 


Sidewalk Freedom 

Exploring her Afro Latina roots through the drums of Bomba, Juba, is a little girl from North Philly who paints her way to freedom with the help of her ancestors, loved ones, and of course lots drums! Help her on her journey to discover self love, warmth and happiness!
