Duel Meaning: Stage Combat and the Collaborative Art

GET TICKETS

Duel Meaning is an interactive, virtual workshop for all artists whom have wanted to write, produce, furnish, choreograph, costume, musically support, perform, direct, or build sets or props for pieces portraying Theatrical Violence. Contrary to misconceptions, Stage Combat is not a niche concentration in the Theatrical Arts: It’s integral to the catharsis and narrative clarity that Theatre can give artists and patrons alike in order to understand the ecumenical truth of stories and to amplify storytellers ecumenically. That is: In order for all to Punch Up, we must learn how to empower the Theatrical community to aim our Punch True.

Panelists are the board and esteemed colleagues of Argent Combat, a Philadelphia-based organization of certified Stage Combat professionals dedicated to promoting the safe fostering of excellence and proficiency of action-oriented entertainment. All guests will receive a workbook, access to live Q&A, and an entry in our raffle to receive free tuition to our Summer Taste of Violence weekend workshop.
