Troilus and Cressida: A Shakespeare NOW virtual play reading

In this rarely presented masterpiece, two young lovers are separated by the Trojan War. When their paths diverge, so do their emotions and their allegiances. Based on a mighty poem by Chaucer, Shakespeare's take is at times dark and cynical and at times funny and moving. This play contains some of his deepest and most illuminating insights into human nature and society on the pain of love and the cost of war.

Presented as part of Lantern Anywhere, this virtual play reading is directed by Charles McMahon and features an all-star cast of 16 of Philadelphia's finest actors.

All Lantern virtual play readings are hosted on Zoom. Registration is FREE, but advance registration is required. Hurry, capacity is limited!
