Sebastian has an idea. His father has just refused to bless Sebastian's marriage to Mary because her dowry is pitiful. However, if Sebastian publicly pursues Moll Cutpurse, the "Roaring Girl," alleged thief and prostitute-in-male-attire, his father is sure to see Mary in a better light. Sebastian's father gets wind of the scheme and sets a trap to prove that Moll is everything the gossips say. However, Moll outwits and outfights them all, proving that you can't judge a book by it's cover--or a woman by the fit of her breeches.
