While Del Shakes can’t bring you a full production this summer, we’re excited to bring you the {Mostly) Virtual Festival from July 17-August 2! The (M)VF aims to celebrate all of what you love about the Annual Summer Festival at Rockwood Park - the picnics, the family fun, the t-shirt, Shakespeare, and more!
During the three weekends when we would have been sharing The Tempest this month, we’ll share a wide array of original, Shakespeare-related digital programming - most of which will be free! Free programming will debut on Facebook, and will be posted later to YouTube.
On August 1, we’ll also have one day of in-person programming at Rockwood with the “Soliloquy Stroll” - intimate encounters with great Shakespeare characters as you walk the grounds. If you want to join us, get your tickets fast as space is VERY limited.
We hope the (M)VF reminds you of great summers from the past, while setting the stage for a wondrous 2021 when hopefully we can all be together again at Rockwood Park.
