E-Waste Drive

The Philadelphia Green Alliance is chapter of the Broadway Green Alliance, an industry-wide initiative that educates, motivates, and inspires the entire theatre community and its patrons to adopt environmentally friendlier practices.

All e-waste will be safely recycled by PAR Recycle Works, a nonprofit electronics recycler that provides transitional employment to people returning from prison.

Bring your theatre's electronic waste to the Philadelphia Green Alliance Chapter drive - together, we can take steps to reduce our environment impact and keep these items out of landfills. All e-waste will be safely recycled and iPods/iPhones will be donated to Music and Memory as part of the Broadway Alzheimer's iPod Project.

Accepted items: cell phones, iPods, computer peripherals (mice, keyboards, wires, etc.), desktop computers, DVD players, fax machines, laptops, monitors, desktop printers, storage media, and stereo equipment. For safety, we cannot accept any hazardous waste, including household appliances, lamps or bulbs, items containing mercury, and anything bigger than 2'x2'.
