The Eagle Theatre (Hammonton, NJ) is seeking a Part-Time, Interim Finance Director. This position will be on-site 20-25 hours a week and paid an hourly rate of $20-$25/hour.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in Quickbooks, Excel, Google Drive, Salesforce/Patron Manager, bookkeeping and have a knowledge or understanding of Non-Profit Financial Management and the Actor's Equity Association. A passion for the sustainability of the Eagle Theatre and equitable practices is integral to this position. This position is part-time due to State-mandated provisions of our primary revenue (live performances and large, in-person gatherings) and has potential to grow when restrictions are lifted and the organization is regularly collecting revenue.

Regular Responsibilities:

  • Go to the post office, open and sort mail.

  • Prepare and bring deposits to the bank.

    • Recording deposits in Quickbooks and Patron Manager

    • Prepare deposit slips

    • Copy and Scan both deposit slip and check(s) – scan into appropriate folders in Google Drive and keep hard copies.

  • Obtain daily deposit reports from Stripe and/or Patron.

  • Manage Accounts Receivable

  • Manage Accounts Payable

  • Manage and maintain employee and contractor files

  • Reconcile the bank account to check available bank balance as needed

  • Assist with keeping records for grants – copies of checks and bills so they are easily accessible.

  • Along with the Executive Director and guidance from the Board of Directors:

    • Create Profit/Loss statements

    • Manage/moderate Annual and Production Budgets

    • Balance Budget

    • Provide Financial Snapshots/Statements as needed
