Theatre Philadelphia 2020-2021 Season Survey
Tour Guides needed for a food tour company in Philadelphia, PA. The tours are walking tours that include a number of food stops, where guests sample food and are informed of the food scene and history of Philadelphia as it pertains to that specific tour's theme. Tours run almost daily, generally have about 6-15 guests, and last around 2 hours each. The number of tours and their frequencies vary per week, but run between 12pm and 4pm. A script is provided and must be memorized during the training process. Compensation starts at $30 per tour plus tips, with opportunities to have pay increased based on positive reviews from guests.
Qualifications:
1. Friendly demeanor who is personable and charismatic
2. Good communication and strong customer service experience
3. Ability to memorize a script and speak to large groups
4. Availability that is consistent according to one of the positions listed above
5. Ability to walk/be on feet for 3 hours at a time
6. Has lived in the Philadelphia area for at least 4 years
7. Loves food
