Working with an Intimacy Director: An Introductory Info Session for Production and Artistic Teams

Monday, October 28th, 2019 - 6:30 to 8:30pm

Join IDI Certified Intimacy Directors Colleen Hughes and Eli Lynn for an info session to address questions such as: “What is an Intimacy Director?”, “Should I hire one?”, and “What can I expect from that process?” This event will also include a Q&A session.



Eli Lynn (they/them) is a certified Intimacy Director with Intimacy Directors International as well as a fight director. They are a recognized Advanced Actor Combatant with 5 international stage combat organizations.They currently apprentice under Broadway Fight Master Ian Rose, have trained with numerous FM's from around the world, and are working towards Certified Instructor status with both the Society of American Fight Directors and Fight Directors Canada.

Colleen Hughes (she/her) is a certified Intimacy Director with Intimacy Directors International, as well as a choreographer, and movement director. She is trained in trauma-informed practices and holds this focus at the center of her work. She also specializes in devised and ensemble-based physical theatre, mask work, and social dance. Training: NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the Stella Adler Studio. www.colleenhughes.com
