Puer Aeternus-Ensemble Theatre Company

Puer Aeternus mostly seeks to create original pieces and to re-invent, through strong stylistic treatments, classic texts. The company is rooted in a highly physical/movement-based approach to theatre and incorporates live music (of various styles: rock, blues, Broadway, Art Song, etc.) into most shows. Its process and aesthetic are driven by a commitment to: (1) a theater of creation sensibility; and (2) prioritizing the visceral over the logical/linear narrative in terms of the construction and performance of pieces.
