Soul Harmony: The Story Of Deborah Chessler, Sonny Til & The Orioles

If You loved "JERSEY BOYS”...You’ll Really Love SOUL HARMONY

A musical theatre production about the birth of Rhythm & Blues, Doo Wop, & Rock & Roll, the story of Deborah Chessler, Sonny Til & The Orioles and how they ushered in a new genre of American music. Their hits It’s Too Soon To Know, Tell Me So, My Barbara Lee & Crying In The Chapel sold millions of records. Their rise to fame also put The Apollo Theater on the map and helped to cross racial barriers right after World War ll. Even though they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 1995 (The same year as Led Zeppelin), their significant contribution to American music history has somewhat been forgotten.

To help us deliver this show in the starring roll of Sonny Til is DeSean Dooley, who also happens to be Sonny Til’s grandson. Rediscover their story and their music…our music!!!
