The leading digital agency for the arts will lead a tailored workshop on best practices for Search Engine Marketing and Google Grants. You'll receive an overview of SEM and Google Grant programs, takeaways to implement in your own audience-building efforts, and details on the recent changes to the Google Grant program. Theatre Philadelphia has been working with Capacity Interactive for the past year to manage our own Google Grant account, so we will share and assess that data together. 

About the Workshop Leader:
Kathleen McFarlane, Director of Search Consulting, Capacity Interactive

Kathleen joined Capacity Interactive after completing a master’s degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University. While pursuing graduate studies, Kathleen worked as a Marketing Specialist at NYU’s Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to graduate school, Kathleen worked at The Araca Group, a Broadway production and merchandising company. Kathleen worked on accounts such as Rock of Ages, The Book of Mormon, Wicked The Musical, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Jersey Boys. Kathleen received a BFA in drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. On weekends, Kathleen can often be found seeing plays and improv shows all over NYC. Her favorite show of all time is August: Osage County.
