On-Site Childcare:

We are thrilled to offer on-site childcare for the Barrymore Awards on October 14th, from 6:30-10pm in partnership with Creative Caretakers. Thank you to Project PLAY School for sharing their space in the Bok building with us.

*Price is $30 flat rate per child with additional $10 per sibling, due upon child drop-off the day of care. Please sign up here by Thursday, October 10.

Please note that we will need at least 4 kids signed up to run the on-site babysitting. In the event that we have fewer sign-ups, we can work with you to have care in your home, though we will have to work with an hourly rate for the caregiver that travels to you.

Rooftop After-Party:

An amazing view of the Philly skyline awaits all of our Barrymore Awards Ceremony guests! Our Post-Show Celebration will be outdoors on the roof at BOK Bar with hearty appetizers, open bar, music provided by Alain "DJ AQ" Adams, and dancing.

To make sure everyone knows what to expect, please consider the following:

  • Guests will line up in a queue directly after the Ceremony ends to be brought up by elevator to the top-floor
  • Elevator can take up about 15 guests at a time, we ask everyone for their patience while we move everyone up to the party as quickly and safely as possible
  • The low temperature for the evening is currently in low 50's. If you are staying for the After-Party please be sure to dress warmly/bring a coat. Partying down with this wonderful community will bring a lot of heat to the proceedings but please keep in mind the weather.

We are hoping to have all of the After-Party attendees to the roof-top location in less than an hour. WHILE YOU WAIT there will be popcorn, soft drinks, and champagne in an ancillary space for you to enjoy while you catch up with friends and line up for the elevator. The last call at the bar will be 11:30pm, and we're permitted in Bok until midnight.

RAIN PLAN: If there is rain, we will hold all of the After-Party activities in-doors on the first floor.

CAPACITY: The capacity for the BOK Bar is 500 guests. Security will be present to keep track of attendees. If we reach capacity and there are still guests who want to go to the After-Party they will be let up as guests exit (1 in, 1 out).

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to Programs Manager James Haro ([email protected]).

We encourage you to invite anyone you can think of to celebrate the work of the theatre community. All are welcome!

Once again - On-Site sales are subject to availability and purchasing ahead of time is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Please let your friends and colleagues know that due to capacity and safety concerns, security will not be allowing anyone without a ticket into the building after 8pm

Looking forward!
