Delaware Theatre Company seeks additional teaching artists for a variety of programs within DTC's Department of Education & Community Engagement.  Our ever-expanding educational outreach programming includes in-school artistic residencies; senior citizens' playwriting workshops; theatre classes in facilities for adjudicated youth; weekend, evening, and summer classes and camps; our award-winning Delaware Young Playwrights Festival program for high school students; and other endeavors that build and reinforce creative development in populations that range in age, background, and experience.  Requirements include degree and/or strong professional experience (or combination thereof) in theatre arts, and prior successful teaching experience. Preferred candidates will also possess qualities of professionalism, a can-do spirit, a sense of humor, flexibility, and camaraderie.  A successful background check may be required for work in certain programs involving children or incarcerated populations.  This is a local hire; no housing or transportation provided.  DTC welcomes diverse candidates.   Send resume highlighting theatrical and teaching experience, and headshot, if desired, to Johanna Schloss, Delaware Theatre Company, 200 Water Street, Wilmington, DE, 19801; or email to johannaschloss@delawaretheatre.org
