Post Date: May 11, 2020

Looking for Actors/Actresses of color and members of the LGBTQIA community for a production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night for the 2020 Philly Fringe Festival. This ensemble production will focus on the developing gender and sexual identities of all the characters of the play, not just Viola. All roles are open to all who audition, regardless of gender.

Rehearsals will be Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays from July 19th-Sept 6th (Tech week Sept 7th-10th rehearsals TBD)

Performances will be Sept 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20th from 5:30-7:30pm.

All actors will receive a stipend.

Due to COVID-19 concerns we will be holding auditions by video submission. Applicants should film a 1-2 min monologue from Shakespeare (Verse or Pros acceptable). Applicants should send resume, headshot, and video audition to indecoroustheatreproductions@gmail.com by Sunday June 7th.

Callbacks will be held in person (hopefully) on Sunday June 14th from 11am-2pm by invitation only.

We are proceeding with the assumption that the Fringe Festival will go ahead as planned, but with the understanding that the situation could change because of COVID-19.
