Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator reports to the Development Director, dealing primarily with activities and strategies relating to individual giving. This includes assisting in all areas of annual and leadership giving, preparing and executing special events, database management, prospect research, supervising departmental interns, and several ad hoc projects that support fundraising at FringeArts.



  • Oversee individual gift entry, tracking, reconciliation, and acknowledgement processes.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of strategies for engaging donors at FringeArts.
  • Draft correspondence and materials pertaining to all levels of annual giving.
  • Conduct prospect research and wealth assessment on current and prospective individual donors. 
  • In close conjunction with the Director of Development, plan, record, and manage all stewardship activities, with particular focus on leadership donors.
  • Work closely with personnel across departments to ensure proper crediting on all materials and FringeArts website, as well as providing concierge ticketing services to leadership donors.
  • Coordinate and produce the quarterly Producers Peek e-newsletter.
  • Attend and take minutes at all Board of Directors meetings.
  • Provide support for planning, implementation, and follow-through of special events.
  • In coordination with the Director of Development and the Institutional Giving Coordinator, manage our seasonal departmental interns, including the hiring process.
  • Attend performances, special events, and donor cultivation events as needed.
  • Other duties as required



  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Development, including related processes and software (preferred experience with Patron Manager/Salesforce).
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills across a wide-range of constituencies, including knowing when to exert poise and discretion.
  • Superior organizational skills with the abilities to multitask and establish priorities.
  • Preferably experience in personnel/volunteer/peer management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team across departments.

Benefits: This is a full-time non-exempt position. Minimal nights and weekends may be required. Annual salary range is commensurate with experience. Includes generous health and leave benefits.
