Costume Shop Manager - DeSales University’s Division of Performing Arts and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (PSF) seeks applications for a 12-month full-time staff Costume Shop Manager.  For an active, production-intensive academic division and a professional LORT-level summer theatre operating in rep, the Costume Shop Manager will: supervise, coordinate and execute all costume designs with a student staff in the academic year and with 8-9 person professional staff in the summer season.  Candidate will design one annual dance concert and teach a basic costume construction course for dance majors every other year.  The successful candidate will be a skilled technician with experience in all aspects of costume construction (cutting, stitching, draping) and possess the ability to manage a small, but very active, hands-on costume shop. Qualifications include bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.  Candidates should possess: excellent organization, communication, budgetary supervision skills; effective leadership skills; ability to demonstrate team orientation; ability to routinely work evenings, weekends, and extended hours when in production; attentiveness to opportunities to promote diversity; and dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution.
