SideQuest Theater, a Philadelphia-based comedy theater, is excited to announce auditions for their July Mainstage production, Objection!
Auditions will be held on April 27 and 28, with rehearsals in May and June leading to a one-month run in July. Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at SideQuest Theater (2030 Sansom Street, Philadelphia).
All performers will receive a per-performance stipend, plus a share of ticket sales.
Objection! is a fully-improvised courtroom trial based on an audience suggestion. Each show, two competing lawyers argue a brand new case, question witnesses, reveal shocking evidence, and object every chance they can get. This is an improvisational show with an emphasis on narrative and character work, and we are looking for a mix of improvisers, actors, and other theater artists to play the roles of lawyers, judges, and witnesses. Experience in improv is appreciated but not required - we are seeking strong performers first and foremost!
